It does seem horribly unfair.The whole inheritance tax and these people were just having to deal with hundreds of years of neglect and rampant spending of their ancestors. On the other hand these houses were built, maintained, and run on the backs of the poor. Seems apropos that some of these are now gettting restored by apprentices honing their craft and open to public.

Looks like Riverhill House and Gardens is still doing well! A recent dog portrait event was recently sold out. I'm glad to see this lovely family doing well. Sarah is a treasure, her ideas really saved this historic home.

Watching this again in June 2024. It was one of my favorites when first aired. At 5:08 Sarah says something about whether the discussion they were having was the end of Design Inc. Ouch! Then within a few years, the team did break up with Tommy, Natalie, and Kate leaving with accusations flying back and forth. They appeared to be a good team, but apparently, we viewers didn't know about any squabbles going on behind the scenes. Pity they couldn't work out their difference as they were a good team, bouncing ideas off each other. But now It appears Natalie and Kate have fallen off the radar and Tommy's career now doesn't appear to be as successful as it was when he was with Sarah. I wonder if Tommy, Natalie or Kate have any regrets.

It’s horrible that Simon kept on trying to bully this lovely couple to allow anyone and everyone to roam through their beloved home as if it was a mall or town square. How dare he? He can go and live in a dormatry if he wants, but not these two!!

Simon has no idea of having a home. He only thinks of making money. That’s not life. This couple can’t get him to understand this concept no matter how many times they tell him. And I personally don’t think he has any idea of running a business. The other spas are part of a hotel stay, not a day trip.

It's not that they are ignorant . It would bring down the price of homes and the government wouldn't be able to tax every piece of dirt you use. Tax every level of building like they do now Banks ,,,, gov,,,,, would lose money and there would no longer be a use for the millions of dollars they get to do something about homelessness. It's big money for them and they would lose it. Insurance companies also make big money on their substandard housing they are using now. You would have no use for insurance more money they steal from people would slip through their fingers
